Still here...

Yes.. we are still here. Yes.. we did move in to our new house. Yes.. our "baby" is already one! Yes.. this is a terrible picture of the five kids that I attempted to take after our very unsuccessful strawberry picking adventure. Yes.. I do plan on updating more often now! That is.. if anyone is still reading?? Oh well.. the updates are coming!

Packing...

Kai has helped with so much packing I think he has gotten confused about what goes in the box!

We are beginning the process of packing again.. But thankfully this will be the last time in (hopefully) many years! We will be soon moving in to our new home and out of this rental! Yay! The kids are so excited about the new house! So are we! It has been a long journey... but it is almost over!

Catch up?? Nope.

I was going to try to catch up from the last few months.. but the thought just overwhelmed me. So... we are going to start from here. {smile} Hopefully I will be able to keep up this time.. we will see!!

Turning 5

Our Cole (aka Awesome) turned five on the 18th. It is hard to believe he can be that old already! Wow! He wanted a party at Chuck E Cheese... we agreed. (SO silly of us!) {grin}

He had a blast! It was a fun time but definitely the last party at Chuck E Cheese! {smile}

Haircuts

The whole crew piled in to Lil' Whipper Snippers and all got haircuts!

Some much more needed than others.. {grin} I only got pics of Maddie and Cole. Kai and Kaden were already sleeping and Ethan was in the shower washing out the awesome green paint. (He was NOT happy about doing that!) Hopefully I will have some pics of the other boys soon!

Cole's hair was a drastic change.. I was changing a major Kaden blow out and he told the stylist to cut it short! AHH! It was already started when I came out... sad. He looks very handsome though and LOVES that he can spike his hair just like his brothers!

"The Tornado"

Well.. It seems to me that "the Tornado" (as we affectionately call our two year old) has struck again. A couple weeks ago I had been working on some new posts for the blog. I was doing it during the day.. which I don't normally do since Kai is so intrigued by everything I do and wants to help. I had pictures set to upload and then got busy doing something else... laundry I am sure. {smile} When I came back the computer windows were all closed and he had somehow changed the wallpaper picture. Seriously, this kid is amazing! {smile} I redirected our attention and moved on to something far away from the computer... and never thought twice about it. Until I got an email from a friend asking to be able to still read the blog. What?? I was floored. "The Tornado" strikes again!
Hopefully I will be able to finish the posts I was working on and get something new up to share soon. So sorry that it was blocked. But it is great to know someone actually reads our blog! {smile}
Watch for "The Tornado strikes again.." It includes lipstick, mascara and the bathroom door! {smile}

Without Internet...

Being in the rental.. we had to do a little adjusting to LOTS of things. Not having internet right away was one of them. It took us awhile to find which box had the cable modem in it. You wouldn't think it would be an issue... except it was in the 20x20 storage garage that has EVERYTHING from our house in it. HA! Oh.. and it was in one of the 20 boxes that said Ryan's Office. Yep... next time we are going to have to be much more specific in our labeling. smile.

Anyways.. enjoy some older posts that never got up. Hopefully I will get to more soon. The house is changing like crazy.. and so are the kiddos. Wow. Enjoy!

Kaden - 2 months

Two months? Can my baby really be two months old already? Where did the time go? NO.. seriously.. where did the time go?

At two months old..

I still don't sleep much at night.

I sleep like a rock during the day.. especially if my brothers and sister are being really loud.

I love to look around.

I am really strong and love to kick.

I love tummy time.

I am cooing and smiling a lot.

I still only smile for my daddy and big sister.

I am definitely going to have blue eyes.

I am really easy going.

I love to suck my thumb... and am the first kid ever to do that!

I am growing like crazy.. 16 lbs. 4 oz. and 25 inches long. Wow!

I am a wonderful blessing and I fill my family with lots of joy!

Ethan's First Football Game

Ethan is trying out flag football this year through the Fargo Parks. He was SO pumped to be able to finally play football. He is loving it!

And what do you do when you are forced to come watch the game?? Why you play on the baseball fields of course?!?

Our new address!!

The building of our house is in full swing. They have the whole first floor framed... minus the garage. We took the kids over to see... and put them all in the front doorway. I can't believe that we actually got a sort of decent pic! It is so fun to think that this is where the kids will have there first day of school pics taken for lots of years to come!! smile. We are loving watching each new step in the building process.. but anxious to see it all be done! Keep checking back for updates!

We are moving back to town to live in a rental until our house is done. It is nice. We can walk Ethan and Madison to school every day. We are close to our new house.. so we can check up on it! And we are close to church! It may be a small place.. but we are learning how to be a "close knit" family.

Thanks Grandma for letting us live with you at the lakes! And don't worry.. we will be back to visit soon! We love you!

Fourth of July Fun!

We got to spend the weekend of the Fourth with Ryan's family in Detroit Lakes. It was a blast! Aaron and Kim and their two boys were visiting from California. It was awesome to see them! It was a great weekend of family, fun and fireworks!! {smile}

Cole was SUPER pumped to be able to "help" Daddy mow the back yard. It was all he talked about for the rest of the day. It was so much fun to watch the two of them together.

Backyard Fun!

Since we spent yet another weekend packing and moving things in to the storage garage... the kids were stuck playing in the small pool in the backyard. They had a blast!

But we are all looking forward to spending some time in the lake... and actually getting to swim! {smile}

After a day of playing in the sun.. the kids decided they needed haircuts. Madison will have to wait on hers.. as Dad was not quite ready to tackle her hair. But the boys all got new hairdos. {smile}
