I knew there was a reason we had kids...

I knew there was a reason we had kids... to do all those yucky chores that have to be done... ha ha.. just kidding... {smile}
Cole was SUPER pumped to be able to "help" Daddy mow the back yard. It was all he talked about for the rest of the day. It was so much fun to watch the two of them together.

Backyard Fun!

Since we spent yet another weekend packing and moving things in to the storage garage... the kids were stuck playing in the small pool in the backyard. They had a blast!
But we are all looking forward to spending some time in the lake... and actually getting to swim! {smile}

The Haircuts...

After a day of playing in the sun.. the kids decided they needed haircuts. Madison will have to wait on hers.. as Dad was not quite ready to tackle her hair. But the boys all got new hairdos. {smile}

Still smiling for the camera... love this girl!

Ethan did not want his picture taken.. this was before the haircut. I couldn't even get a quick picture of him after.. that will have to come soon!

Cole with his new... Surfer Dude haircut... as he calls it! Love the flip!

Kai's new haircut.. the mohawk. He looks SO cute.. I mean cool! {smile}

What kind of face would you make if your dad just gave you a mohawk? {smile}

A pound for Daddy when the cut was all done. So cute!

Feeling Festive...

In the spirit of awaiting our little bundle of joy.. I had to switch the background to a fourth of July type theme. I am hoping that by the 4th, our little sparkler will already be here... but I guess we will see. {smile}

I have been having to have iron infusions and getting B12 shots to try to get my blood levels up higher. They are not sure why.. but I become EXTREMELY anemic while I am pregnant. This time more so than any other. Sitting in a cancer center getting iron infusions for three and a half hours is not my idea of a good time.. but if I don't do it.. the doctor won't let me deliver this little man. So, you do what you have to do. {smile}

Hopefully this little guy will come soon. We have to be out of our house by the 30th of June.. and are getting a little nervous about how this will all work out. But we know that it will. {smile} We will be living with my mom out at the lake until we find someplace else. It will be SO much fun to be able to be at the lakes.. enjoying the summer. And hopefully my family will still like us after being exposed to all seven of us for the summer!! {smile} We are SO blessed to be able to stay with my mom. It is going to be great for the kids too!

We will keep you updated on baby news and house news. Hopefully we will have some of both very soon!! {smile}

Vacation Bible School

The kids had a GREAT week at Vacation Bible school! The theme was Crocodile Dock.. and boy did they all love the music. We have been rocking out to it in the car and house every day since then. {smile} I got to wander around this year and just take pictures. It was so much fun to be a part of the day.. but not have to be stressed about anything. We love Vacation Bible School!!

Ethan and his cousin Samuel

Kai and Daddy during the program on Friday. He was SO tired.. he fell asleep just like that about five minutes after the picture was taken!

Ethan's School Trip to the Zoo

I was blessed to be able to go with Ethan's class to the Red River Zoo. It was SO much fun to be able to do something special with him. It was a beautiful day... and the kids had a blast!

Checking out the animals

Riding the Carousel and getting his face painted

Our group of kids... Nathan, Ethan, Emily and Alysa. They were such a great group! It was an awesome day!

Madison's Kindergarten Graduation

For Madison's Kindergarten Graduation.. we all got to have a picnic supper at the school and then the kids sang some songs for us. It was a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the evening ended in three out of the four kids having major meltdowns. Which means we didn't get any really good pictures of Madison with her friends or her teacher. Bummer. The scrapbooker in me is mourning... {Smile} She had a great year and loved her teacher. I can hardly believe she will be in first grade next year... wow!
